NilaControllerMX in stock – ready to ship
NilaOS

One platform – from the sensor to the browser

NilaOS is a complete operating system that runs in the browser. This is where you commission, program and manage NilaControllerMX – and every app you build is then available to your customers. Same tools, same interface, whether you have one site or a hundred.

NilaProvision

Commissioning and operation – the installer's tool

Everything you need on site and afterwards: open a site, add controllers, watch data points live, adjust setpoints and configure every unit. Once it is running, you follow it in the same app.

  • Add units by scanning the label, entering the code from the MX display or finding them over Bluetooth and the local network
  • Process views showing how the units are connected, with live values
  • Insight: KPIs, reports and notifications built on trend data
  • Logs, service settings and over-the-air software updates
  • Secure transfer of ownership – share the site with a customer, colleague or team

NilaStudio

Design, logic and publishing – in the browser

A visual development environment where you draw the logic as block diagrams and build user interfaces with drag and drop. The logic runs in the controller – even when no app is open and even without internet.

  • Block diagrams with logic blocks, PID and calendars that run directly in NilaControllerMX
  • Build views, widgets for NilaRemote and pages for the MX display
  • Bind buttons and values to live data points
  • Package as a signed app – run it, deploy it to a unit or publish it in NilaStore
  • Built-in version control and optional source protection

NilaStore

The app store for the whole platform

Install, update and uninstall apps with one click. Build a solution once in NilaStudio and reuse it on all your sites – or let NilaStore deliver it to your customers.

  • Signed apps tied to a publisher – you know who built what
  • Updates reach every user immediately
  • Required apps can be tied to an organisation
  • Approved partners can publish their own apps

NilaRemote

The property owner's mobile app

The end customer gets a simple app for iOS and Android to see and control what you have built. Share access with a rotating QR code – without anyone touching the unit.

What makes NilaOS different

Just a browser

No software to install, no licence keys on the computer. Log in at nilaos.se from any device.

Offline first

Control runs locally in the controller. Login and control keep working even when the internet is down.

No stored passwords

Login and authentication use RSA key pairs – even offline. No passwords are stored on the units or on the servers.

Your keys, your data

Every user and unit has its own RSA keys and communication is encrypted node to node. Commands are signed by the owner.

Built for teams

Team folders, roles and sharing let the whole installation company work on the same sites.

47 languages

The entire interface is available in 47 languages – for your technicians and your customers alike.

AI-ready

The AI assistant Nila helps out in NilaStudio, and through MCP, AI tools can read and control points – only the points the owner allows.

No licences. No subscriptions.

Pay once – use it for 15 years and beyond

One-time cost

You pay for the unit once. No licences, no subscriptions, no fees per point or per user.

NilaOS included – for good

NilaOS, the programming tools and the cloud connection are completely free for the integrator, the installer and the end customer for the entire life of the product.

5-year warranty

NilaControllerMX comes with a 5-year warranty.

15-year function guarantee

We guarantee that the product works for at least 15 years from the date of installation. Should anything happen, spare parts or replacement units are available at a discounted price for at least 15 years.

NilaCore – the foundation of everything

Under the surface runs NilaCore, our own framework written in C. The same code base runs in NilaControllerMX, on servers and directly in the browser – so logic behaves the same wherever it runs. The framework is built to be fast, predictable and reliable year after year.

  • • Own encrypted protocol (wCom) over TCP, serial and Bluetooth
  • • Units are reached securely from anywhere – without VPN, public IP addresses or open ports
  • • Modbus RTU/TCP, BACnet, Shelly and HTTP integrations
  • • Built-in trend logging, alarms, calendars, PID, spot price and weather
  • • Over-the-air updates, verified before restart
